Black Swan Confidential

It seems everything I do lately has been getting me to think about things in a different light. The book I’m reading (The Black Swan) challenges conventions of yore that I always went by. There’s also this less-known sitcom I started watching — Kitchen Confidential (a relative flop in the US I believe, hehe) — that makes me appreciate my being a foodie all the more, as I see the exaggerated goings-on of the kitchen staff behind fine dining establishments.

There are recent developments behind the kitchen door that are “black swan-ish” in nature, and require quite an unusual perspective.

ei, i also downloaded kitchen confidential. after watching the first three episodes i deleted it. i found it boring and their humor is not for me. unlike you, i’m not into culinary stuff. i love to eat though. no better proof than the weighing scale at my gym! hahaha
