morsels 07.08.09 – endings and beginnings
* Like millions of others, I stayed up late last night tuning in to CNN to watch Michael Jackson’s moving memorial service. As I’ve tweeted, my favorite parts of the program were: Brooke Shields’ poignant eulogy, Usher’s heartfelt “Gone Too Soon”, Judith Hill’s rendition of “Heal the World”, and the bittersweet, indicative short message of MJ’s daughter Paris. It was a fitting farewell to a global legend.
* Congratulations to Estre and Ailenne (aka Wander Girl) for starting their life together. Such a radiant couple these two. Thanks to the grand buffet meal, today should mark the end of my binge trips (emphasis on ’should’ 
)
* If this is not your first time to visit the blog, you’d notice that it underwent a minor layout facelift a few days ago. I’ve moved the sidebar back to the left and removed a couple of nice-to-haves so the site should load faster. I feel that one of these days I’m gonna need to do something radical with the site — whether that be a total overhaul, or retire it while people are still interested.
