I said it before, I’m not one who’s fond of local politics.. and as such have not dipped my fingers a lot (or at all) on it here. I’ll leave that to the experts — most especially to one of my recent favorites.
So what do I make of the recent passing of former President Cory Aquino? Well, more than her contributions to history, I salute her for embodying the values of steadfast faith, unconditional love, and unshakable personal integrity.
Certainly a role model leader, parent, and citizen.

Had been wondering what you think of Tita Cory.. We went to LSGH last Saturday to pay our respects, it was a very emotional event for all us as a nation. I hope the youth don’t forget her legacy of democracy, truth, and good governance..

Breakfast at Café by the Ruins (Baguio)
Our next restaurant stop in Baguio is what is probably its most unique. Café by the Ruins' distinctive name is matched by a quirky-artistic vibe and a delicious menu featuring locally-grown ingredients. Setting. Built upon the war 'ruins' of a former ...
Le Chef at the Manor (Camp John Hay, Baguio)

I have very fond memories of dining out in Japan back when I had frequent business trips there. One of the foods we ate often and that I really liked is yakitori, grilled chicken skewered on a bamboo stick and barbecued over charcoal. Fortunately, we have the Japanese franchise Nanbantei…
Click here to read the rest of this entry »A couple of weeks back, we scoured the web for a good Singaporean restaurant in town that can satiate my Bah Kut Teh and Hainanese chicken rice cravings. The search led us to Rasa in Cubao’s Araneta Center, right beside the coliseum entrance.
